Pres. Cincinnatus Leconte 1912-1914
Recess printed by the American Bank Note Company, New York. Line perf. 12.
This issue was a consequence of C. Leconte overthrowing President A. T. Simon in July/August 1911. However, since Leconte himself was blown up with his entire government palace on August 8, 1912, two of the three stamps with his portrait were only issued after his death.
