1Scott #1, 1c imperforate Liberty Head, 60 unused overprints on two album page plating grids. One page has a full sheet reconstruction less one position (pos. 28). The other has 11 copies. The stamps are for the most part Fine. Catalog is $560.00.$75.00$100.00
2#2, 2c imperforate Liberty Head, 18 copies on album page, 5 copies unused. The others include one used pair. Copies are good with margins clear but, in some cases,close. Catalog is $126.50 18.0026.00
3#26, 1c violet Palm Tree 1st issue, 32 unused copies on plating grid. Nice condition, fine plus, well centered. Shades light to dark. Catalog is $32.00, attractive lot.5.0015.00
4Imperforate Liberty Heads, mostly used, 1c (2), 2c (10), 3c (4), 5c (5), 7c (5), 20c (1), condition good to fine, includes a nice used 5c pair. Catalog as all used, about $230.00. Good to fine.20.0038.00

7Nice internal cover, Port Margot to Port au Prince, 7 July 1922, paid by 5 cts de Gourde fiscal used for postage. Stamp is on back tied by Port Margot and PauP date stamps. Date stamps also struck on front. Sound without wrinkles and relatively clean. Unusual use of fiscal to pay postage. Almost VF.25.00105.00
8Cover mailed on Dutch packet from Gonaives to Havre. Paid by 5 c dark blue, Scott #131, tied by incomplete strike of Dutch oval. A second strike of the Dutch marking to the side is almost VF. Marked "PRINS DER NEDERLANDEN VOIE DE NEW YORK". Clean and sound with faint vertical file fold. Almost VF.30.0030.00
9Picture post card, Grant's Tomb (in NY) to Paris paid by 1c and 2c Nord Alexis, Sc #96 and #97, VF strike of "PAQUEBOT N.Y. 2D DIV", as usual not tying stamps. Card is in nice condition.10.00No Bids
10Cover, Dominican Republic to Jacmel paid by Dominican imprinted postage, backstamp Jacmel 7 Dec 1894, and French octagonal cancels. Clean and sound except for faint vertical file fold. About Good to Fine condition.5.0060.00
11Letter, Aux Cayes to Boston 23 June 1848, via NY, nice strike of large circle "NEW-YORK SHIP JUL 24 7cts" ; clean & sound with two faint file folds not detracting. Contents one page in English, mainly commercial. Ends with a statement that after July 1st the Government requires that import duties by paid in Spanish. VF.40.0075.00
12Letter, Cap Haitien to Port au Prince 4 September 1859, on back a vf strike of the small British style double circle CAP HAITIEN, no indication of postage paid, as is usual for these. Quite sound and clean but for faint horizontal file fold. Contents one page in French appears to be quite legible. VF.40.0085.00
13Letter, Port au Prince to New York, 7 JANUARY 1867, circular dues marking "NEW YORK SHIP LETTER FEB 15 4". Contents a short commercial letter in French, quite readable. Letter is sound and clean and except for two faint vertical file folds; Very Fine.25.0042.00
14Cover sheet, Jacmel to London September 28, 1858, faint but legible "JACMEL" in large double circle, 1/5 due marking, and London date stamp on back. Slight soiling and vertical file fold. Condition about good.10.00No Bids
15Envelope with enclosure, PauP to Boston via New York. 19 July 1860, circular New York Ship Letter marking for August 8, quite nice, with 5 cents due, 3 cents inland plus 2 ship letter fee. Enclosure is one page letter in English, somewhat difficult to read. Paper thin but holding up. Slight soiling, condition about Fine.15.0045.00
16Letter, Port au Prince to New York via Philadelphia 28 June 1843. Quite clean and sound except for a vertical file fold slightly detracting. Stamped on front "Philadelphia JUL 13" in circle and "SHIP", in ink 14 1/2 (cents due) the overland charge plus 2 cents ship letter fee. Contents two pages in English, readable. Almost VF.40.0065.00
17Letter, Port au Prince to New York 10 August 1859, handstamp "6" in circle, VF, charge for a ship letter delivered at port. Clean, sound, and VF. Contents one page in English, quite readable. Very faint vertical file fold, not detracting.40.00140.00
18Letter, Jacmel to Boston 4 March 1826, via Portland, Maine. Portland date stamp April 5 and manuscript "SH 14 1/2", the overland charge plus 2c ship letter. Letter is neat, clean, and sound with a faint vertical file fold, not seriously detracting. Contents one page in English, readable. Almost VF.40.00105.00
19British cover sheet, PauP to London, 31 July 1824, strike of "PLYMOUTH SHIP LETTER" and date stamp for 19 September 1824 on back. Clean & sound; faint horizontal file fold.5.0044.00
20Cap Haitien 20 July 1837 to London. Hand stamped "COVE SHIP LETTER" 2/1 due and arrival date stamps. Letter opens up to 9 by 15 inches with three and a half pages of small writing in English, evidently copied from the journal of a missionary. Should be readable, with some perseverance. Possibly interesting. Slight soiling, but on durable paper and still sound.40.00125.00
21Letter Gonaives to Bordeaux August 1854 via Jacmel and London with nice large "JACMEL AU 28 1854" in double circle, almost VF, also strike of colonies &tc Art. 13 accountancy marking. Charged 15 decimes in France. Date stamps for London and Bordeaux. Letter is clean and sound with horizontal file folds not seriously detracting. Contents three pages in French, quite legible. 22Letter Port au Prince to London 26 April 1820, clean and sound with fine strike of large "SHIP LETTER LONDON 5 JY 1820", 2 shilling charge, and JY 6 arrival date stamp. Contents two pages in German, probably legible.40.00150.00
23Letter Jacmel to Boston 24 May 1855, clean and sound with faint horizontal file fold not detracting. Very fine strike of the Boston "SHIP 6", the charge for an unpaid ship letter at port. Contents one page in English; legible.35.00150.00
24Letter Port au Prince to Boston via Holmes Hole (Cape Cod). Clean and neat with faint vertical file fold, in manuscript "HOLMES HOLE MS MAY 7" and "SHIP 14 1/2" the overland rate plus 2 cents. Contents one page in English, commercial and legible. Almost VF.35.00195.00
25Cover sheet Jacmel to Havre 25 February 1880. Somewhat faint but nice strike of British "JACMEL C UNPAID" in circle, T 1-10 postage marking and charged 16 decimes in France. Item is clean and sound with a horizontal file fold that detracts somewhat. About good to fine.10.0038.00
