Overall condition about fine. Link to Auction Lot #3 imageLink to Auction Lot #3 image150.00750.00

8Letter dated Cap Haitian, 7 February 1849, to Gonaives by Haitian post and on to Port au Prince by coastal ship service. On the front is a strike of the British style double circle marking for Gonaives. The letter is marked 6 ¼ , which would be the charge for Le Cap to Gonaives.
