1Registered cover, Port au Prince to New York, 16 Oct. 1891, two pairs of 5c of 1891 to pay single registered rate, stamps are somewhat oxidized (or sulfurized) but have a tinge of original color, cover is neat and clean; stamps tied by cds strikes, VF.$10.00No Bids
2Cover, Port au Prince to Hartford, Connecticut, 31 Dec 1891, paid by 3c and 7c of 1891 tied by cds strikes, the 7c is oxidized and shows just a hint of former color. Cover has a small tear at top left, not affecting stamps or markings, about 1 cm long, otherwise is neat and clean and VF.15.00No Bids
3Cover, Port au Prince to Bordeaux, 1 June 1896, paid by two 5c of 1893-96. Cover is neat and clean with small pin hole. One stamp is tied by cds. second is cancelled and not tied, otherwise VF.8.00No Bids
4Cover, Jeremie to Bordeaux, 27 March 1897, paid by 3c and 7c of 1893-95. Stamps are neatly tied by cds. Cover has stain at lower right corner about 3 to 4 cm long not affecting stamps or markings, but is clean and sound otherwise.7.00$7.00
5Cover, Cap Haitien to Paris paid by pair of 5c of 1891 nice copies and neatly tied by cds, 15 March 1894. Cover is brown paper but clean and in VF shape.15.0016.00
6Cover, as previous lot, same correspondence, two 5c of the 1891 issue, Cap Haitien to Paris. Cover was apparently posted on a ship, there is no Haitian cds, stamps are cancelled by Le Havre cds, 28 April 1884, and there is a strike of a straight line "PAQUEBOT" small letters marking, slight toning at top but sound and otherwise clean.15.00No Bids
7Cover, Jacmel to Belfast, 2 August 1897, "pr Royal Mail 'Para' " paid by 3c and 7c of 1891. Stamps are VF and neatly tied by cds strikes, cover is clean, sound, and attractive. Link to Auction Lot #7 image25.0042.00
8Cover, Port au Prince to Munich, 14 October 1896, paid by 7c and 3c of 1893-95. Stamps are tied by cds strikes but are only F used and not neatly placed. Cover is slightly stained overall, about F.5.00No Bids
9Cover, Port au Prince to Vienna, 15 Feb. 1897, paid by 7c 1893-95 and 3c 1896 nice copies well tied by cds strikes. Cover has vertical fold down center not affecting stamps, but a tear along it beginning at top has been reinforced by hinge material and some staining is noted at top. Presentable and overall about F. 5.00No Bids
10Internal cover, Cayes to Port au Prince, 5 June 1898, paid by 2c of 1896 issue, nice copy neatly tied. Directed "per Hollandais" and probably carried by ship, addressed to US Vice Consul General. Some damage at left resulting from opening and not affecting stamp. F-VF.15.0028.00

17Two covers with stamps of the watermarked issue of 1898, both badly flawed with addressee erased or cut out, one has a stamp cut out as well. One is Cap Haitien to Havre with two 20c corner pair with margins, 17 Sept 1898, the second is Port au Prince to Havre, paid by two 7c and a 20c cent with a 1c of 1896 and 2 on 20c brown (1898), a large cover with a sixth stamp cut out.1.005.00
18Registered cover, faults, Haiti to Munich, paid by 3c of 1891 and 7c of 1893-95, stamps cancelled by indistinct cds strikes and not tied, water stain at top. Cover is underpaid (should be 20c) but went via New York, where it was treated as registered with registry label and backstamps.1.002.00
