In April 2003, Haitian postal authorities released a set of six values and a souvenir sheet to commemorate the 200th Anniversary of the death of Toussaint L'Ouverture, an important leader of the Haitian Revolution.   Stanley Gibbons reports that a composite sheet of six was also released.

The souvenir sheet is quite large, measuring 6 1/3 x 8 5/8 inches, 16 x 22 centimeters, and copies without damage will be elusive due to its size.
