| Lot 1. Order on stationary of Hector Daure, Colonial Prefect, at Le Cap to General Quantin at Fort Dauphin, 2 January 1803, shortly after the death of Le Clerc. Faint but legible strike of “CAP”. Jamet #17 for this town. Free on the manuscript notation “Le Prefete Colonial”. Strike of seal of Daure on reverse, about fine. Contents one page in French can be read, signed by Daure. The order is clean and very sound and overall fine to very fine. | |||
