  Lot 2.   FL 26 February 1774 Bordeaux to Cayes via Jacmel, with 'IACMEL' town stamp, black, Jamet #1 for Jacmel and marked 2 1/2 escalines due. Two page letter in French, appears somewhat difficult to read and probably commercial. Quite clean and sound. The town marking is slightly under inked but quite visible. It is missing the E of IACMEL as is often the case for this marking. On the front is what appears to be a faint B in circle. Overall nearly VF.
